Gastronomy - Lefkes Village Tavern

Gastronomy is one of the first priorities of LEFKES VILLAGE. In its gardens, there are cultivated hundreds of trees and plants that generously give their tasty fruits. The olives and the oil, their fruit trees that offer fruits and raw material for the jams, the kapers (kapari) and the kaper leaves make the salads more tasteful, while according to the season, one can find fresh vegetables from the garden or from producers who also supply us with local meats, cold meat and cheese.

In the hotel tavern one will find homemade delicacies and will enjoy authentic flavors of the Aegean and Paros. Each morning you will find you haven’t completed your breakfast unless you have a bowl of freshly made yogurt from the village covered in honey and nuts. The excellent cuisine, the warm hospitality but also the magical environment attracts both tenants and sightseers with gastronomical concerns.

At least once a week, gastronomic nights are organized where local tidbits are tasted along with wines of the region. In September, in the open spaces of the house, the customary stepping of grapes in the traditional winepress takes place and the first products are tasted.
