The Paros Museum of Popular Aegean civilization is located in the installations of the Lefkes Village hotel in Paros. The Museum was founded by Mr. George Pittas, owner of the hotel, author and explorer of the Aegean Sea (simadiatouaigaiou.wordpress.com). The numerous exhibits of everyday life and traditional occupations reveal a world, that even under difficult conditions, managed to live in harmony with the environment ,respecting nature and humanity. Apart from the aesthetic value and what they symbolize, they reflect on the development of the mind and culture.
The museum exhibits are separated in different units:
A series of cultural events at Lefkes Village include cooperation with experienced guides enabling guests to visit various areas of archaeological interest, organize walks at old paved paths ,execute offroad 4 x 4 trips under arduous conditions and attempt visits to numerous monasteries, churches, traditional houses and places of unique natural beauty.
